Room was nice, nice view. Didn't like that they said that Hilton Honors members could only stay in the 3rd floor or less. I thought we would be allowed more options not less. The AC wasn't working well. Not enough shower towels. They only gave us 2 . The breakfast food was not as good as I expected. On the upside the view was excellent, the people were nice, the size of room was nice and updated. It's just the lack of towels, AC not working well and not being allowed to stay on a higher floor that was a bummer and the food could have been a little better. The price was decent if the those things were fixed. Would stay again if they let me stay in a higher floor, give us more towels and have a better working AC. I can deal with the food situation.
My mother surprised me and my fiance with a surprise trip to visit our family down here and we had a fantastic time. It was close to the airport so it wasn’t too much of a hassle to get over though it is in a high traffic area which is something to be mindful of. The rooms were what was to be expected well clean and put nicely together but there were some spots that didn’t seem to be vacuumed. Really the star of this trip was our experience with the service. Upon check in we had this lovely young man Angel that made sure we had everything we could possibly need and with a positive attitude. It was very refreshing to have a nice conversation in such a fast paced city. Each time we needed to call down for fresh towels or direction advice he was also sure to give it. If their service is like his all the time I would 100% stay here again!
Nice hotel, clean and nicely decorated and set up. The first room we got the AC didn’t work but we got switched to a new room quickly and easily. Personally I thought the bed was very hard, but to each their own.
After a flight cancellation, I quickly booked this hotel and arrived to find it sold out - an issue with an external booking site, no fault of Tru by Hilton. David and Pablo at the front desk quickly sprung into action to find me a room, get it cleaned and went above and beyond to make sure my rough day didn’t become even worse. I can’t say express my gratitude enough and will absolutely come back here, specifically because of their kindness and care. Great breakfast and clean room with very nice sheets were a bonus. But the customer service is why I will return. Thank you, guys, so much!
Pros - Rooms and locations are perfect and convenient. - I love Tru hotels when traveling. - Rooms were clean and comfy. - Overall, a great hotel and location. - I would stay there again 100%. Cons Only suggestion would be the hotel front desk staff. They seemed very ignorant about the most basic questions. We were given wrong info about simple things. For example, I forget his name, but we arrived on Mon 9/22/25 around 8:30 pm local time, so whoever the front desk person was. Anyways, he told us wrong info about no Ubers or Lyfts going to the Cruise Ports because they don’t have a license. Which, come to find out, is a lie. We took a Lyft to the Port with no problem. Something about not having a tunnel license. Like why would you tell us this lie? So strange. The hotel offers a shuttle to the Port for $20/person, so that’s why I told him we would take a rideshare, and that’s when he told me the story. Only other thing is the hotel not mentioning that they have a FREE shuttle from the airport to the hotel. But I will share the blame on that for not checking beforehand. Still, it would have been nice to save the $20 spent to go such a short distance.
Guys hotel is so nice but super confusing. There are 3-4 hiltons until find it I used to take 3 shuttles. I was thinking maybe problem with me but I ordered Uber Eats 2 times. Both failed too. Hotel is nice but careful about location. Free shuttle is good
Excellent property! Clean and well maintained. Every staff member was courteous and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Location was awesome. Definitely stay here!
Great views! Places to eat within walking distance. Great breakfast selections and a very nice lounge with a happy hour! We will definitely be back when we're in Miami!
